Jack Corrado
With nearly 40 years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer in some of the country’s largest law firms, Jack Corrado assists clients with litigation management, strategy and counseling with a primary objective of avoiding litigation wherever possible, and where not possible, to help to resolve litigation with the best possible result at the lowest possible risk and expense.
Prior to joining Executive Counsel, Jack was a partner with Baker Hostetler in Washington and Morrison & Foerster in its Washington and Northern Virginia offices. At MoFo, Jack was the head of litigation for the DC and Virginia offices. Although Jack has handled litigation matters in a wide variety of subject matter areas in courts throughout the country, his primary focus has been in representing technology companies, including several of the world’s largest computer hardware and software manufacturers and other technology companies primarily in intellectual property matters, but also in commercial litigation.
Jack has special expertise in the federal court for the Eastern District of Virginia and formerly served as the president of the bar for that court. The Eastern District of Virginia is commonly known as the “Rocket Docket” and has the fastest civil calendar of any federal court in the country, regularly scheduling cases for trial within nine months of filing.
Jack graduated from Washington and Lee University Law school in 1980, and holds a Master’s degree in philosophy from Duke University where he was a philosophy instructor. Jack’s half-finished PhD dissertation is on causation.
