Lee Weiner

Lee has represented large publicly traded and private companies in a multitude of legal matters. His extensive experience as general counsel provides the foundation to effectively counsel clients on:

  • legal support for sales and procurement
  • marketing
  • compliance, governance and regulatory policy
  • intellectual property
  • employment law and human resources
  • shareholder matters
  • Lee served as a General Counsel to several national and international publicly-held telecommunications companies where he was in charge of legal, regulatory, and legislative affairs. Specifically, Lee was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at XO Communications, Inc., a publicly-held, leading provider of telecommunications services to businesses, large enterprises, and telecommunications companies throughout the country. Prior to joining XO Communications, Inc., Lee was Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Net2000 Communications, Inc., a competitive provider of broadband telecommunications services that offered local, long distance, internet, and data services to corporations throughout the east coast. Lee was the chief legal officer for Net2000’s successful IPO in March, 2000 and subsequent capital raising transactions. Lee also served as Vice President and Acting General Counsel for Qwest Communications International, Inc. after its merger with LCI International, Inc. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and General Counsel at LCI International, Inc.

    Lee has participated as a speaker before numerous seminars and conferences and has been quoted in several newspapers and trade journals including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, and Legal Times.
